Mike Wilhite, born and raised in St. Louis, MO has been immersed in soccer since the age of 3. As a part of the 2004 Missouri State Champion high school team and a collegiate player at Maryville University, Mike brings a wealth of experience and passion to Soccer Wars.
After college, Mike transitioned into coaching, achieving remarkable success with high school teams, including Missouri State Champion titles in 2009, 2012, 2013, and 2014, and a runner-up finish in 2024. At the club level, Mike serves as the 9v9 Director for St. Charles FC, coaches in the Elite Academy League, and has experience as an assistant coach for a senior men's USL2 team. He holds a USSF National C License and currently working toward his USSF B License, underscoring his dedication to the sport and player development.
Beyond his impressive soccer credentials, Mike resides in Kirkwood, Missouri, with his wife Erin, son Seamus, and daughter Austyn. His love for soccer extends to his family, as he enjoys traveling for his son's hockey and soccer games and his daughter's soccer and dance performances. Their annual trips to Disney World highlight his commitment to family and fun.
Mike's journey in soccer has instilled in him the values of hard work, commitment, and enjoyment. He now finds joy in seeing the same passion in his children.
